The problem
Rishi Valley is a centre for awareness, healing and inner wellbeing, run by two teachers, Mohanan and Jessica (Ramdasa), with more than thirty years of shared work in teaching, retreats, healing, meditation and personal enquiry. The centre offers weekly classes in meditation, Hatha Yoga, Chi Gong, Tai Chi and Yoga Nidra, retreats of one to four days from October through March for at most twelve people, fourteen online courses, and forthcoming specialist retreats on subjects such as emotional intelligence, living without blame and the nature of addiction. The site had to explain all of this in the centre's own voice, which is careful to say it offers learning and personal development, not a medical programme, and it had to take a booking or an enquiry without turning into a sales page. Tagline on the site: "Harmony, Peace, Balance, Beauty, Love."
What we built
A single-page web application with client-side routing, so the site moves between its sections without a reload. The home page sets out what happens at the centre in three strands, classes, retreats and courses, each with its own page. "The approach" explains the thinking: experiential learning, not instruction. The teachers have their own profiles. The forthcoming specialist retreats are listed with their subjects, with dates to be published as they are confirmed. A practical information section covers food (strictly vegetarian, local meals included where applicable), nut allergies, the alcohol-free and smoke-free policy, clothing and health disclosure, with full practical information and accommodation pages behind it. A "Book / Enquire" call to action sits in the header and at the end of the page and leads to a booking route. A skip-to-content link and a menu control keep the site usable by keyboard and screen reader.
How the work ran
A website at Ryzenforge is written with the client and built mobile-first, with design agreed before code and three revision rounds. The site is currently on a staging address while the centre's own domain is connected.
The result
A centre whose site reads the way the centre speaks: what happens there, who teaches, what to expect before you come, and one clear way to book or ask.
What runs it
A single-page web application with client-side routing and a booking route.
A business website from Ryzenforge today is from Rs 35,000: 5 to 7 pages, copy written with you, WhatsApp and call buttons, Google setup on launch day, three revision rounds, two weeks, source code handed over. Website development has the full scope and prices.
