The problem
Insurance agents work from their phones. Policies, renewals, premiums, follow-ups and the people behind them live across calls, notes and WhatsApp, and an agent with a few hundred customers cannot keep that in their head. The app Ryzenforge built for LIC agents puts that work in one place that opens in a second and works on an ordinary phone on mobile data.
What we built
An Android and iOS app for LIC agents, built from a first version agents could try to the releases that followed, with the back end hosted and supported by Ryzenforge. This is the lane Ryzenforge calls Apps: Android and iOS from one team, from MVP to scale, with the back end run as a service rather than handed over as a box.
How the work ran
Custom software at Ryzenforge runs in phases with a fixed price before each one starts. A scoping call sets what the first version must do and what waits for a later release, written as a one-page scope that both sides sign off, with 70 percent to start. Design comes first, so the screens are agreed before a line of code is written, then the build, then testing on real devices with three revision rounds. At launch the remaining 30 percent is paid and the source code and every account are handed over. Hosting, backups, monitoring and support continue under a monthly fee, with a person on WhatsApp when something needs changing.
The result
2,000+ daily active users, in India and wherever LIC agents work, which makes it the most used thing Ryzenforge has built. That number is one of the three counters on the Ryzenforge homepage, beside the 300+ projects delivered and the 75,000+ orders on the store platform.
What runs it
Android and iOS clients.
Mobile apps are priced on quote after a scoping call; the scope call fixes what the first version must do and what follows in later releases. The services page has the lane and the process.
